Passage from Judea and Samria to the Gaza Strip - Ms. ___ Mahram ID No. ___

The Military Legal Advisor's response to Gisha's complaint – the military stipulated the passage of a Palestinian and her four children from the West Bank to Gaza - where her spouse resides - on her undertaking never to return to the West Bank. The Military Legal Advisor claims the policy pertains to Palestinians who "willingly" sought to relocate to Gaza; in order to facilitate informed decisions such individuals are sent relevant information - their signature only confirms that they received it. The Military Legal Advisor claims there is no stipulation, as the signature is not mandatory, but adds that the plaintiff must submit a request for limited visitation to Gaza. Such visits are only granted in humanitarian cases - visiting a spouse and/or parents and their minor children, does not in itself justify the approval of the request.
