HCJFH 181/09 - Abu Dheim et al. v. GOC Home Front Command Decision in the Petition for an Additional Hearing

Decision in the petition for further hearing on HaMoked's petition to prevent the sealing of the house belonging to the family of the person who carried out of the attack at Merkaz Harav. The Court rejected the petitioners' claim that the Court was wrong not to interfere in the decision to seal the house - a decision which assigns blame to individuals who did not know of their family member's intention to carry out the attack. The Court also rejected the claim that the reinstatement of house demolitions, a policy long since abandoned by the army, warrants a further hearing. The Court ruled that the judgment was correct and did not contradict previous rulings.
