AP 402/03 - Judah et al. v. Minister of Interior et el. Judgment

The settlement reached by the parties is endorsed as a judgment: Children born outside Israel to a permanent resident will receive status through a two year graduated family unification procedure. The child will receive a temporary status visa, A/5, for two consecutive years, followed by permanent residency subject to proving center-of-life in Israel and the absence of an individual security preclusion. The Respondent undertook to publicize this policy within 60 days in the population administration offices, including on notice boards, in Hebrew and Arabic and to post it on its website expeditiously. Members of the public will be told that they must return to the office to arrange for permanent status at the end of the two year period.
