Judgment
Compromise judgment ordered border police officers to compensate a Palestinian whom they detained and beat on the street. The judgment decreed that the officers abused their authority, infringed the Plaintiff's right to bodily integrity and dignity, humiliated him and caused him sorrow and distress. Based on the judgment in the criminal proceeding on this matter, the Court determined that no violence was used against the other Plaintiff in the same case and awarded him a symbolic sum of money because of the unpleasantness in which he found himself.
