HaMoked: Center for Defence of the Individual and other human rights organizations appeal to the Chief Military Advocate General: Israel is obligated to protect the rights of detainees from Gaza

The organizations demand that Israel respect its obligations towards detainees in accordance with international humanitarian law and Israeli legislation, and ensure their safety and wellbeing. Israel must also notify the families and attorneys of these detainees of their whereabouts and of the conditions of their incarceration. The organizations demand that the military allow these detainees to meet with their attorneys, and bring them before a judge as soon as possible.
