HCJ 8990/02 - Physicians for Human Rights et al. v. O.C. Southern Command et al.
Judgment
The HCJ denied a petition against the firing of Flechette shells, holding that the laws of war do not prohibit their use, and that in the cases mentioned in the petition, the army did not exceed the boundaries that it set for such use. The Court also mentioned that civilians who were injured by Flechettes were liable to have been injured by regular shells, so the injuries they suffered cannot be attributed necessarily to the use of Flechettes.
