Re: HCJ 2732/05 Head of the ‘Azzun City Council et al. v. Government of Israel et al. Decision regarding contempt of court dated 5 October and updating notice on your behalf dated 24 September 2009

Att. Sfard who represented HaMoked in the application under the contempt of court ordinance in the matter of the separation wall in the ‘Azzun area demands the state immediately dismantle the patrol road it built alongside the wall in the area. The court ruled that the state had deceived and was in contempt of the court and its judgment which decreed the wall in the area was unlawful and must be dismantled. The state notified the court that the road actually serves local residents and its dismantlement would cost time and money. In his letter, Att. Sfard states that the state deceived the court in this matter too. Document available in Hebrew.
