Back to a Routine of Torture: Torture and Ill-treatment of Palestinian Detainees during Arrest, Detention and Interrogation September 2001 – April 2003
Updating report by the Public Committee Against Torture in Israel which determines that since 2003 there has been a sharp increase in ill-treatment, torture and degradation of Palestinians during their interrogations of the ISA [formerly known as GSS]. The report also describes ill-treatment and degradation by soldiers and Border Police Officers during the arrest and over the course of the detention as well as the legal and practical frameworks which allow torture to continue unabated.
