Promoting Impunity: The Israeli Military’s Failure to Investigate Wrongdoing
A detailed report by Human Rights Watch dealing with Israel's failure to meet its obligation to investigate cases of civilian casualties as a result of lethal use of force in the activities of security forces in the Occupied Territories. The report thoroughly examines a number of deaths and severe injuries of Palestinian, British and American civilians and determines that most investigations into such cases are whitewashed. According to the Military itself, only a fraction of the cases in which there was an apparent unlawful use of lethal force are investigated. From the Human Rights Watch website.
