HCJ 2150/07 - Abu Safiya, Beit Sira Village Council Head et al. v. Minister of Defense et al. Judgment
Judgment in a petition by ACRI and residents of villages near Road 443, to instruct the military to allow the free movement of Palestinians on Road 443. The petition is granted. The justices rule that the military commander's order prohibiting all Palestinian travel on Road 443 "is inconsistent with the principles of international law pertaining to belligerent occupation" and must be revoked due to lack of authority and lack of proportionality.
