CC 5693/01 Mahmoud et al. v. Roni Ben Yitzhak Bourgana et al. Judgment
Judgment in a civil claim incidental to a criminal conviction filed by three Palestinian laborers represented by HaMoked against a border police officer, Roni Bourgana. The judge ruled that, “[t]here is no dispute that Plaintiffs 1 and 3 were injected with a syringe and that all the Plaintiffs were beaten, including with a club and other instruments” and ordered Bourgana to pay each of the Plaintiffs 12,000 shekels in damages. Bourgana was also instructed to pay 3,000 shekels for the Plaintiffs costs and legal fees
