Health Insurance and Temporary Numbers for Children who are Residents of East Jerusalem, Position Paper
HaMoked’s position paper on health insurance for children residents of East Jerusalem. HaMoked’s position is that the appropriate arrangement for a child with at least one resident parent to be eligible for health insurance upon birth and until such time as he is registered in the population registry, regardless of how long this process takes. Such an arrangement would live up to the undertaking made before the HCJ and to the National Health Insurance Law and would respect human and fundamental rights.
