HCJ 5100/94 - The Public Committee Against Torture in Israel v. The State of Israel et al. Motion for an Order Nisi

General petition by the Public Committee against Torture in Israel to order the Israel Security Agency (ISA, formerly known as GSS) to stop using torture. The organization asserts that the powers and interrogation methods of the ISA have never been authorized by law, and that the Landau Commission has legitimized mental and physical methods of torture and humiliation of detainees in violation of Basic Law: Human Dignity and Liberty and of international customary law.
