Policy on Movement of People between the State of Israel and the Gaza Strip

"Israel's policy on the passage of people from the Gaza Strip to Israel, and vice versa. Israel's claims that the laws of belligerent occupation no longer apply to its relationship with the residents of Gaza, and simultaneously that the Hamas' rule of Gaza justifies its decision to apply severe limitations, including reduction of the amount of fuel, electricity and goods entering Gaza, and limiting the passage of people between Israel and Gaza. Israel conducts a closure of the Gaza Strip, and permits movement between Israel and Gaza only in exceptional cases, such as of seriously ill people who require medical treatment, senior business people, people with foreign nationality, and football players.
