Following reports in the media according to which the military detained yesterday about 150 Palestinians from Gaza and transferred them to Israel, HaMoked sent today
an urgent letter to the Attorney General.
In its letter, HaMoked requested information regarding the location of the detention facilities in which Palestinians detained during the fighting were being held, and the legal grounds for their detention.
HaMoked also enquired whether the Attorney General permitted the use of extraordinary measures in the interrogation of the detainees.
