At the end of a hearing in HaMoked's petitions against the military's decision to remove three East Jerusalem residents from their city: the court announced it would deliver its decision shortly

In recent months, HaMoked has been battling the military's growing practice of issuing administrative removal orders against residents of the city, which mean just one thing: the expulsion of the residents from their home city; this, given the fact that East Jerusalem is occupied territory for all intents and purposes, and that the deportation of protected persons from occupied territory is strictly forbidden under the Geneva Convention.

On March 16, 2015, the High Court of Justice (HCJ) held a hearing in four petitions filed by HaMoked to revoke the removal orders issued against three East Jerusalem residents. One of the men has also been ordered to stay away from the West Bank. At the end of the hearing, the court announced it would issue its decision shortly.
