The Minister of Interior issued an order banning the departure abroad of an East Jerusalem resident who was recently expelled from his city and ordered away from the West Bank: HaMoked has filed an objection to this decision

An East Jerusalem resident against whom the military has issued an order for his removal from the municipal boundaries of his city, and also ordered him to stay away from the West Bank, has recently sustained another severe blow.

On March 8, 2015, the Minister of Interior issued against the man also a stay of exit from Israel order for a month. According to the order the man is "in contact with Popular Front activists abroad" and there is "substantial concern […] that his departure from the country would create a threat to the security of the state". The order states that upon examination of the man's objection, if one is filed, the possibility of extending the order for another six months would be considered.

On March 12, 2015, HaMoked filed an objection to the order. HaMoked explained that the man denied all imputations against him, and further, that in the last few years the man had even made several trips abroad without having been interrogated or questioned about it by any security officials. HaMoked questions the nature of the information underlying the order, and has requested to receive any type of open evidence available, if such exists.
