  • *   On 29.10.2015, the HCJ held a hearing on HaMoked’s petitions against the intended punitive demolition of six homes. In the hearing, in view of the state’s practice of delaying the execution of demolition orders which the court had already approved, the justices instructed the state to supply the details of all issued demolition orders which the court had approved since 2013, including the dates of the judgment and actual demolition in each case. This court demand has led HaMoked to monitor the demolition dates, presented herein.

  • 31.12.2015 – objection filed on behalf of the Harub family; attack on 19.11.2015, in which Shadi Arafa, Yaakov Don and Ezra Schwartz were killed; demolition order for the family home in Deir Samit, Hebron District, filed 30.12.2015
  • 15.11.2015 – objections filed on behalf of the Abu Ghanem family and the property owner; attack on 13.10.2015, in which Alon Andrei Govberg, Chaim Haviv and Richard Lakin were killed; demolition order for the family home in Jabal al-Mukabber, East Jerusalem, issued 11.11.2015.

  • 28.12.2015 – The HCJ approved the demolition of the Halabi family home in Surda, Ramallah District; attack on 3.10.2015, in which Aharon Bennett and Nehemia Lavi were killed; demolition order issued 17.10.2015; petition HCJ 8567/15 on behalf of family and HaMoked filed on 13.12.2015 and petition HCJ 8782/15 on behalf of property owner and HaMoked filed on 20.12.2015.

Demolition orders cancelled by the HCJ
  • 1.12.2015 – the HCJ cancelled the demolition order issued for the Abu Hashiyeh family home in Askar Refugee Camp, Nablus; in the petition, HCJ 6745/15, filed on behalf of the family and HaMoked, court ruled demolition order must be cancelled due to excessive delay in its issuance; attack on 10.11.2014, in which Almog Shiloni was killed; demolition order issued 3.10.2015
  • 12.11.2015 – the HCJ cancelled the demolition order issued for the Ishak An’am family home in Silwad, Ramallah District; in the petition, HCJ 7040/15, filed on behalf of the property owner by a private attorney, the court ruled that the apartment would not be demolished provided the owner evicted the family; attack on 29.6.2015, in which Malachi Rosenfeld was killed; petition HCJ 7077/15 on behalf of family and HaMoked filed 22.10.2015 and petition HCJ 7180/15 on behalf of neighbors and HaMoked filed 26.10.2015 – both were rejected.
