The court accepted a suit for damages submitted by HaMoked following a serious incident in which Border Police officers abused three Palestinian minors in Jerusalem: The police officers forcibly placed the youths in a patrol vehicle where they were beaten vigorously and forced to sing songs praising the Border Police. The court ordered the police officers and the state to pay compensation to the Plaintiffs

HaMoked has petitioned the High Court of Justice (HCJ) following a sequence of serious failings concerning the investigation of an incident in which a Palestinian resident of Rafah was shot and killed and her spouse and his two brothers were injured: This is the second petition submitted by HaMoked relating to this incident. An investigation was launched only following the first petition, but in practice, the military has done nothing to advance it

Two years after a Palestinian resident of Rafah was killed by the military and her husband and his two brothers were injured, the military decided to open a criminal investigation: Only following HaMoked's petition did the Military Advocate General agree to finalize the exploratory procedures - over a year after the severe incident took place – but decided, predictably, not to launch a military police investigation. An objection filed by HaMoked on this matter was accepted and an investigation will be launched

The High Court of Justice ruled that the military's use of Palestinian residents as "human shields" is unlawful and contradicts the provisions of international law: following a petition filed by seven human rights organizations in this matter, the HCJ banned the use of civilians to conduct arrests in the Territories

Civil suits for maltreatment of Palestinian truck drivers near Hebron: HaMoked filed two claims for compensation against the state regarding cases in which soldiers stopped truck drivers driving along Route 60, brutally beat the drivers, and falsely imprisoned them

The HCJ refused to hear HaMoked's claims against a new procedure which makes the entry of Palestinians to Israel for the purpose of legal proceedings conditional on obtaining a private security escort: In the framework of a petition filed by HaMoked, the State announced its position that courts of lower instances are empowered to deliberate on the question of funding for the escorts and finding alternative solutions for realizing the right of access to justice

Tort claim for the killing of a youth in Khan Yunis: HaMoked: Center for the Defence of the Individual filed a compensatory claim against the state for the incident in which a youth was shot and killed in the alAmal neighborhood in Khan Yunis after trying to render aid to persons who had been wounded by IDF gunfire. No Military Police investigation was opened into the matter.

A petition to allow entry to Israel for the purpose of medical examination, in the framework of a damages claim: HaMoked petitioned the HCJ against the military's decision not to allow a Palestinian youth to enter Israel for the purpose of a medical exam necessary in order to prove his damages in a claim he has filed. The boy was shot and seriously wounded while he was in the schoolyard, probably by soldiers who were manning a nearby checkpoint

Settler attacks on Palestinians: Compensatory claim filed by HaMoked against the state for the torching of a Palestinian vehicle by settlers while Palestinian farmers were picking olives. Despite prior coordination between the Palestinians and the military, and Palestinian calls for assistance during the course of the incident, the state failed to protect the pickers and enabled the settlers to run wild and set other vehicles aflame as well
