HCJ 8155/06 Association for Civil Rights in Israel et al. v. IDF Commander in the Judea and Samaria Area Response by the Petitioners to the Respondents’ Response dated 23 June 2009
HaMoked’s response to the state’s response to the request for an interim order in the “ISA precluded” petition filed by the organizations. The organizations stress that their request was not designed to cancel the procedure but to prevent the blockage of the administrative route opened to persons precluded from travel who had been turned back at the Allenby Bridge prior to the entry into effect of the new procedure. Therefore, the state’s arguments are irrelevant and the request for reexamination must be accepted.
