AP 725/03 - Rajub et al. v. The Minister of Interior et al. Respondent's Response
The Ministry of Interior responds to the amended petition against the decision not to grant temporary status to the husband of an Israeli resident who has lived in Jerusalem since their marriage in 1990. The Ministry confirms that the petitioner's case was not processed at the time, in 2001, due to a technical error, and thus the position of the security agencies, which was required for the purpose of a decision, was only received after the government decided to stop the graduated procedure. In light of the circumstances of the case, the Ministry of the Interior agreed to upgrade the petitioner's status to an A5 status.
