AP 725/03 - Rajub et al. v. Minister of Interior et al. Amended Petition for an Order Nisi

HaMoked's amended petition, pursuant to the Supreme Court's decision to grant temporary residency to a Jerusalem resident's husband, living in Jerusalem since their marriage. For more than 13 years, the petitioner has been striving to legalize her husband's status in Israel, where, for almost two decades, the couple has been living and maintaining a family life. The petitioners reiterate their claims that the petitioner was given a governmental assurance by the interior-ministry official handling his case, and that a general decision to grant the petitioner A-5 status had been made prior to the government resolution, and that the fact that his status was not upgraded stemmed from the interior ministry's failures.
