AP 1106/09 - HaMoked: Center for the Defence of the Individual v. Minister of Interior et al. Decision
The Court rejects HaMoked’s motion for a costs order in a petition under the Freedom of Information Act filed after the Ministry of the Interior failed to provide information on the competent officials with respect to entry from the Gaza Strip into Israel. In a short decision, which was hand written on HaMoked’s response, the Court ruled that there was no justification for the costs order considering the overall circumstances of the case, parties’ arguments and the fact that the identity of the competent officials had been published without a hearing.
