HCJ 7970/09 Abu Khalf et al. v. Military Commander of the West Bank Request by Consent to Delete the Petition
In HaMoked’s petition to allow a Palestinian from Hebron to bid farewell to his dying father, who passed away while the petition was being submitted, the parties reached an agreement and requested the court delete the petition. According to the agreement, the petitioner would be able to leave for Jordan for 36 hours, subject to depositing a 10,000 NIS guarantee. However, since he cannot obtain this amount, the parties agreed that he would file a new petition when he secures the funds, and if circumstances do not change, he will be permitted to travel to Jordan.
