HCJ 5168/90 - Qarish v. IDF Commader in Judea and Samaria, Response on Behalf of the State Attorney's Office

The Respondents claim that their decision to prohibit the Petitioner, a teacher and resident of Nablus, from traveling to Jordan is grounded in security considerations and that they do not generally allow an individual to exit where there are concerns that he would contact members of "terrorist organizations." The Respondents claim that there is confidential information regarding the Petitioner assisting her husband when outside the West Bank.
