CC (Jerusalem) 21135/95 - Al-Shuweiki v. The State of Israel
Civil claim on behalf of a Palestinian resident of Hebron and member of the Palestinian table tennis team who sought to leave for Jordan and France to participate in a table tennis tournament. The Plaintiff received an exit permit, but his departure was denied upon arrival at the border. The Plaintiff claimed that the Military Legal Advisor should have informed him of the change in the decision, so that he would not incur monetary damage. The Plaintiff refers both to the monetary damage caused by needlessly traveling to the border crossing and the distress caused by the cancellation of his trip and inability to participate in the tournament.
