In a civil claim by a Palestinian resident of Hebron and member of the Palestinian table tennis team, the Court ruled that there was no practical or security related reason not to inform the Plaintiff of the cancellation of his exit permit before he left for the border. It was the authorities' duty to inform him of the change, and since they breached this duty, the Plaintiff was awarded NIS 700 in compensation and the State was ordered to pay costs at NIS 3000.
