HCJ 1520/09 - Jabarin v. Commander of the Army Forces in the West Bank Judgment
The HCJ rejected a petition to allow the director general of the Palestinian human rights organization, Al-Haq, to travel to the Netherlands in order to participate in the awarding of a prestigious medal to his organization. The Court ruled, based on security related materials presented ex parte, that the director general is a senior operative of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and that preventing his travel abroad is justified in light of relevant security considerations.
