Petition against the forced expulsion of a resident of the West Bank to the Gaza Strip. The petitioner is originally a resident of Gaza,who moved to the West Bank. The Palestinian Authority changed his registered address in the population registry and in his ID card, to the West Bank. The Israeli copy of the registry was not updated. Israel arrested the man and transferred him to Gaza. The petition analyzes the authority to manage the population registry, in light of the transfer of authorities in the Oslo Accords to the Palestinian Authority. A change of address does not require approval by Israel.
