HaMoked's petition to reveal the location of a detainee who had been transferred from the Kishon prison to an unknown destination and the IPS did not notify his family nor made appropriate records. In the petition HaMoked stresses the authorities' duty to notify of a person's arrest and holding place as this is the basic right of the detainee and his family. A governmental system which conceals persons is a cruel system which severely harms the humanity of the detainee and his relatives. Following the petition, the detainee was located in the Ohalei Kedar prison.
