HCJ 8696/07 Mishi et al. v. Commander of the Army Forces in the West Bank Response on behalf of the Respondents

State's response to HaMoked's petition to instruct the State to record the locations of prisoners in its custody in real time. In their response, the Respondents rely on the IPS Commission Order which regulates the absorption of detainees transferred to the IPS from Police custody. HaMoked stressed, in its response dated 6 November 2007, that the detainees discussed in its submissions were transferred between IPS holding facilities. The State's response also states that an investigative team has been established for the purpose of examining the matter of recording prisoners in the various prisons.
