HCJ 726/08 - Al 'Adlouni et al. v. Commander of the Army Forces in the West Bank Supplementary Notice on behalf of the Petitioners

In a supplementary notice to the Court, HaMoked relates the professional opinion of a social worker who is familiar with the four children who petitioned the Court to travel from the Gaza Strip to the West Bank and remain there with their father and gravely ill mother. The opinion stresses that the children’s situation in Gaza is grave. They are suffering neglect, are cut off from their friends, fear the proximity of others, suffer fears of abandonment and are on the verge of a nervous breakdown. In light of this, the social worker states, their unification with their parents is urgently required. Following the petition, the children were able to travel to the West Bank.
