HCJ 4747/15 - Abu Jamal et al. v. GOC Home Front Command Petition for Order Nisi and Interim Order
HaMoked's petition to instruct the military not to demolish the family home of one of the two assailants in the attack at the synagogue in Har Nof, Jerusalem. HaMoked asserts that the long time that has passed since the attack and the HCJ's approval of the demolition belies the deterrence claim; and that carrying out the demolition now is nothing but an act of vengeance. HaMoked reaffirmed that the family had no knowledge of the planned attack, and that it contradicted the values held by the family.
